This Privacy Policy explains how Collie, Inc. (“Collie,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use our website and services (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to this policy.

Information we collect

  • Information you provide. Your name, email address, website, and any business details you submit through our forms or in the course of using the Service.
  • Google account information. If you connect your Google Calendar, we access your calendar availability and create or update calendar events on your behalf, as described below.
  • Usage information. Basic technical data such as IP address, browser type, and interactions with the Service, used to operate and secure it.

How we use information

We use information to provide and improve the Service, schedule and manage meetings, respond to inquiries, communicate with you, and keep the Service secure. We do not sell your personal information.

Google user data

Collie’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

When you connect a Google account, Collie requests access only to your Google Calendar in order to read your availability and to create, update, or remove calendar events related to scheduling. We do not access your Gmail, contacts, files, or other Google services. We use this data solely to provide the scheduling features you request. We do not use it for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not transfer it to others except as necessary to provide the Service, with your consent, or as required by law. We do not allow humans to read your Google user data unless we have your consent, it is necessary for security or to comply with the law, or the data has been aggregated and anonymized. You can disconnect your Google account at any time to revoke this access.

How we share information

We share information only with service providers that help us operate the Service (such as hosting, database, and infrastructure providers), and only as needed for them to perform those services. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Collie or others.

Data storage and security

Information is stored in secure, access-controlled databases hosted by reputable providers, and is transmitted over encrypted connections. We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Data retention

We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide the Service and for legitimate business or legal purposes. You may request that we delete your information by contacting us.

Your choices

Children

The Service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
